2004-08-22 and it was 3:28 p.m. when I wrote this:
Today was a great day. I saw someone I have been wanting to see again!! I saw my old roommate Jackie from Tonopah!! I was so happy to see her. She is going to be living in Reno and man....we can laugh together again. That was so awesome.
The other day I was in Red Robin with my main man Kenny Red...and his daughter!! And well I ended up seeing Tamara..a girl from highschool that I haven't seen in about 4 years!! The other night I was in Blockbuster...I mean BestBuy (inside joke) and I saw a guy from my rez...he's about 4 years or 5 years younger than us.
I went to old navy today with a gift certificate that my grandmother gave me for my b-day. I had a good b-day. It was relaxing. My good pal Sherry called last night. Man I wonder what it would have been like if she went with me to Alaska...man. That would've been awesome. Turns out that she went to Homer Alaska for her honeymoon. That is definitely a romantic place to go. It's beautiful, laid back, and the food is awesome! There's nothin like sharin an amazing view of the land and sharin a kiss at the same time.
what happened in Alaska stays in Alaska. I was reading some quote one day or I heard someone saying this..."Don't be sad it's over, be glad it happened." I take that as leaving things behind. THe memory may be there, but it's just another tool to leave things behind.
So when I look at the rings on my thumb...I used to have three, but now I have two. I gave one ring to a guy I met in Alaska. So all in all. Not all things are completely my fault as I take them to be. We are the worst at forgiving ourselves sometimes although there are some people who forgive themselves way too easy and not others. So anyways. The Lord doesn't remember our sins and he doesn't ever bring them up to us...he forgets...he totally forgets. The enemy...well he constantly brings that crap up to us. God is awesome. How many of us want so bad to be in a relationship with tons of mercy and when we have hurt that person...oh how things would be so grand if they totally forgot and we could try all over again completely new!! But that's not the case eh. We have to be in relationship with God before we can be in relationship resembling those sought after qualities!!!
