2004-05-24 and it was 10:14 p.m. when I wrote this:
The messges....be avid.
What is it and where is it that God is calling us to to be avid???
What are we willing to do for God or for ourselves?
God may be calling us somewhere we don't want to go but it's that very place that is the very key to get us where he wants us to be and that we desire most to be.
What are we willing to cut off in our lives (which by they way is continual) to keep going on deeper with God. I heard a preacher talking about when reality meets vision....people can either grow or be destroyed. The work....we can have heart and we need to have heart and we need to have passion but let not our emotions rule over that thing we are so willing to do for God. Our destiny and purpose and instructions from the creator can all be shattered in a moment of a discouraging comment, sentence, or words being spoken against us. But nothing we do for the kingdom of God is going to come without opposition. Jesus went all the way to the cross for us in the midst of temptation...he didn't have to do what he did. So what are we willing to live for? God's will may seem so much far off while listening to the lies....but read the word and know the truth and praise God for what he has brought us through thus far....remember the promises spoken over our lives...and he has called us to believe...believe requires our mind...it requires our mind to believe on good things and get in tune with GOd so he could put his thoughts into ours...so all those thoughts of the renewed mind drown out that which is temporary because there is an anointing and a stirring attatched to the will of God for our lives!!!
I needed that so much because my mind is just sorry!!! So sorry today....it needs to be corrected and the only way to do it is to fill if with Words from God, praises and thankfulness for what he has done and not what I have done....he's paid for it all and has a mission for all of us. Lord help me to not be petty and think of myself lesser than or unable to do what you have called me here to this earth in this time to do. Help me grow up even more.
