2004-05-09 and it was 2:23 p.m. when I wrote this:
I had some of the biggest blessings this weekend.
I now have all the jingles to make one dress.
My brother has been on my mind and I received an email today with him in a picture with all the other marines he is there with in Iraq.
I know he is over there. Do I want him home? I don't know because it's not really about me. But I do miss my brother and I love him.
The Rock. A man that looks like the Rock. My grandma said that I could end up with a man that looked like "the rock". yee. My grandma. A nice tall looking native guy. Hm.
I am in Sac town. I was at Stanford university yesterday. Seems my university is not as good but hey...I am not an intellectual genius or a 4.0 type of gal.
The pow wow was great. The switch-dancing was awesome. I loved-tedet. anyways..I am about to go out and eat with my relatives from sac and my gram and my aunt booboo. its been quite a trip. I spent the night in Richmond last night at some lady named Jeannette's house. grandma and booboo know her.
Thomas's drum group is starting to sound real good. I wish i could sing and learn all them songs..but maybe it's time for something else. I saw some other awesome drum groups there as well. Man...Sagepoint!!..Northern Bear or something...Midnight express...all them are awesome...hardcore awesome. THose guys's voices are awesome. I really enjoyed getting to see them do their drum thingy. Also Young Bird was interesting...I have their cd so it was interesting seeing them in person. One of the guys in the group was all starin at me when I first got there...we sat in the general area right by them.
There were a lot of vendors. I got some beads and jingles. My dresses will be able to get complete!! yes!!
Thank you Lord. Now I am praying for 450.00 for the trip to Wales...plus some spending money. And I also need to get my bills paid otherwise I will be reported to the credit agency.
Well I need to get going. My aunt seems to be bawling someone out in the living room..I am hungry.
